Director/Choreographer - Willy Wonka Summer Camp

Isabella Yackanicz is a recent graduate of West Chester University, where she earned her B.A. in Political Science, minoring in Journalism and Spanish. She has been performing in community, collegiate, and professional theatre productions since the age of 9, with her very first theatre experience being at summer camp. Directing summer camp is truly a full circle moment!

At WCU, Isabella was nominated for ACTF’s Irene Ryan acting award and the MTI award in three different productions, took additional WCU theatre classes in her free time, attended/performed at the ACTF theatre festival in Pittsburgh and was a host for WCU-TV. 

She has 8+ years of dance, vocal and acting training under her belt. Isabella also directs summer camps at Steel River Playhouse, and has directed, choreographed, and stage managed their mainstage productions as well. Isabella is passionate about theatre education and loves helping young artists grow in confidence, creativity, and storytelling skills! 

Isabella serves as a UMPA summer camp Director/Choreographer and has Stage Managed fall workshops.
