Production Manager

Maria Bentin is UMPA’s Production Manager and a member of the administrative team. She earned a B.S. in Business Administration with a concentration in Management, and minors in International Business and Spanish, from the University of Delaware. After college, Maria worked in Internal Audit at Ernst & Young and later in Internal and IT Audit at Charming Shoppes.

Outside of UMPA, Maria serves as the Division Coordinator for Project Sweet Peas’ Greater Philadelphia Area Division, a nonprofit supporting families with babies in the NICU. She is also the secretary and an active board member of Main Line Health’s NICU Parents Advisory Network, serves as treasurer for several high school sports' booster clubs, and is a longtime member and former board member of the Upper Merion Mothers’ Club.

Maria lives in Upper Merion with her husband, Arturo, and their three teenagers, Nico, Maci, and Mia. Her twin daughters’ love of musical theater inspired her to join UMPA.

Maria has seen firsthand the positive impact that musical theater has had on her own children. She values the opportunity to work with UMPA to provide programs where students can develop communication skills, creativity, resilience, and confidence in a safe and supportive environment. What Maria loves most is seeing the absolute joy and pride in parents’ eyes as they watch their children light up the stage.
