Advanced Improv Games with Nir Kitaro
tudents who have completed Improv 1 are invited to join Nir for Advanced Improv Games. This drop-in style class allows students to join when their schedule permits, or chose to sign-up for all classes in advance.
Each hour-long class stands alone and features a fresh mix of advanced improv games that build on core skills like “yes, and,” listening, and simple scene work. With Nir’s coaching, students dive into character-driven games, status play, and formats like group scenes, tag-outs, and genre- or style-based challenges. The atmosphere stays playful and supportive, but expectations are higher: returning improvisers are pushed to take creative risks, make bold, specific choices, and collaborate as a strong ensemble—no matter how many sessions they attend.
